Wednesday Afternoon Juneau

In Juneau we were signed up for a tour of a gold mine, the A & J Mine was huge around 1900 working 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Bob was good to put up with me as my background of growing up with Rock Quarries and Company towns and around heavy equipment AND my fascination with history helped me to really enjoy this tour. Bob was pretty diligent at trying his hand at gold panning though. Unfortunately we didn't help pay for our trip or get enough to make some jewelry or anything. I would love to go back

We rode the tram up the hillside even though the weather was a little marginal. The view was awesome! Bob didn't care for the heighth but he wanted to go.

Tonights Towel Animal made me miss the doggies! Don't those look like Tuckers ears?
