One of the nice things we did LAST year was to go to First Night in Tacoma for New Year's Eve. It was a spur of the moment decision and turned out very well. It was held in the Theater District of Downtown Tacoma which looked pretty good in the dark! We parked and rode the "link" bus which is something we hadn't done before. For the $8 admission button you could choose from a variety of entertainment. We chose to watch the parade, have dinner out, we went to watch a very talented magician who was quite funny! We watched fire dancers
We wandered around people watching and listening to outside music venues, stopped in a tea shop and sampled many varieties of tea. We made a decision to head home before the big countdown to the New Year and Fireworks show.. in order to avoid

the crowd on the link when it was all over. We were home by 11:30 and watched the TV countdown and calmed Pepper as the neighbors shot off fireworks. It was a good evening and I am glad we chose to go and join the festivities.

It is so nice to find something to read. Remember that there are those of us who not only can't get out of the yard this time of year, but even if we could, there is no where to go so we live vicariously through others adventures. I love that you and "Our Bob" actually go and do things. Nothing has to be big and fantastic, the small fun stuff adds highlights to any day or event. You keep posting and I wlll keep leaving little notes. I can hardly wait for the spring thaw to come and see you. Love, Susie
